#OurBlueLight Forum
Each service has varying types of champions or ambassadors, however here at Our Blue Light we want to bring everyone together to create multi-disciplianry team. We organise numerous events thourhgout the year to engage champions, to ensure they have a strong network of support from their peers.

Visit the forum, your are all welcome to come along! There will be an opportunity for Mind Blue Light Champions, Time to Change Champions, Wellbeing Ambassadors and any other interested party  to intereact,  share ideas and to ensure we continue with our vision to stride towards a mentally healthy future within #OurBlueLight services.
Our next Champions/Ambassadors event will take place on the 23rd August (Location TBC). The event is set to be a really empowering day with some amazing guest speakers. We wil also be providing an opportunity for Champions/Ambassdors from around the country to network and share best practices.

What is a Mind Blue Light Champion?

What is a Blue Light Champion?
As a Blue Light Champion you will raise awareness of mental health and help to break down stigma in the workplace. How you do this is completely up to you, and we encourage you to get creative!
Who can become a Blue Light Champion?
Anybody who is a current employee or volunteer working in the police, fire, ambulance or search and rescue services can become a Blue Light Champion, whether or not you have personal experience of mental health problems.

Blue Light Champions are essential in challenging stigma and increasing understanding of mental health in the emergency services. There is no maxiumum of minimum amount of time you must commit to however a keen interest in reducing stigma is a must.

If you are ready to become a champion head over to the Mind Blue Light Programme website to  sign up. Dont forget to find out if your employer already has any champions you can link in with. alternatively use the forum on the website (coming soon) to find out who is near by.
