Champions Network Meeting

SMT Network Meeting

On the 12 September 2017 we will be holding the Second North West Emergency Services & Essential Services Health & Wellbeing Champions Event. The event is set to build on the findings from our first event - it is a great opportunity for all champions and aspiring champions to help shape the future of health and wellbeing across #OurBlueLight services
The network will have a full meeting for both SMT and Champions  every four months with differnt themes surrounding health and wellbeing to be explored. The next SMT Meeting will take place following the champions event - date TBC

Our Mission
  1. Champions/Ambassadors Second Meeting
    Champions/Ambassadors Second Meeting
    9th September
    Join us at HMP Kirkham, this event is set to be an excellent opportunity for all champions and aspiring champions to help shape the future for health and wellbeing across all emergency services. We will be getting touch with all members shortly to advise of the venue and registration details. We will have numerous motivational and inspiration speakers on the day to help us develop a true health and wellbeing movement within our workplaces.
The Emergency and Essential Services Health and Wellbeing Network looks to bring all services together to share best practices, assit in evaulating exisiting systems and provide and opportunity to explore combinded learning and development opportunities.

The EESH  works with colleagues at grass routes to ensure that H&W is pioneered and desgined by colleagues whom are directly afffected by the way we work. We aim to give colleagues a voice in shaping their own future by providing direct links & working groups between both networks.

Our network has already gained nation attention and we are hoping this can grow to become a consolidated movement of health and wellbeing in our workplaces.

#OurBlueLight Events
Not only will be working towards achiving a healthy working envioment for all emergency & essential service colleagues, we will continue to run events to bring #OurBlueLight family and network together.
During 2017 we will be continuing to enagage colleague from all service to help raise funds and awarness to support our Emergency and Essential Services.

This year we are raising funds to support the Mind Blue Light Programme & Time to Change. We are doing this through numerous events including a North of England relay, where we will challenge colleagues to carry the #OurBlueLight baton. We will also see the return of the Blue Light Walk which will see more colleagues challenge to take on this epic challenge.

We have many more events planned including The Blue Light Games & #OurBlueLight Charity Ball - more details will be provided via out Network Meetings.
